Chem-Trend 88H Aerosol is a semi-permanent, dry-film fluoropolymer-based release agent and lubricant.It can be used for many types of molding operations,especially where abrasion is a problem. Chem-Trend 88H Aerosol incorporates a system to tightly bond the release film to the mold surface for maximum abrasive resistance.
Properly applied, Chem-Trend 88H Aerosol will not attract or hold dust. Because the release agent does not transfer from the mold to the part, there is no effect on postdecoration of the molded parts.
Chem-Trend 88H Aerosol is particularly effective on vinyls, polyesters, epoxies, phenolics and polypropylene. Chem-Trend 88H Aerosol is also recommended for use in releasing silicone rubber from metal or plastic molds.
Recommended Use Recommended uses are casting, potting, hand lay-up,encapsulating, filament winding, injection molding, vacuum bag molding, compression molding and spray booth peel release. Chem-Trend 88H Aerosol can also be used successfully for dry lubrication of rollers, machines, guides, conveyors, and similar areas where anti-sticking properties and superior lubrication are desires.
