Chem-Trend Mono-Coat 2119W and Mono-Coat 2120W Biocompatible Release Agents for the Manufacture of Medical Silicone Products
Mono-Coat 2119W and Mono-Coat 2120W are biocompatible release agents that Chem-Trend has developed for the manufacture of medical silicone rubber products,such as molded medical tubes, protective caps, and closures. The semi-permanent,
water-based release agents are certified in accordance with the USP Class VI panel of tests, and therefore perfectly suited for use in the medical and pharmaceutical industry.

The new Mono-Coat 2119W and Mono-Coat 2120W release agents:

In biological compatibility tests, Mono-Coat 2119W and Mono-Coat 2120W were found to meet the requirements of USP Class VI. The USP sets the standards for prescription and over-the-counter medicines and other health care products sold in the United
States, as well as food ingredients and dietary supplements. The panel of tests was conducted by NAMSA, a medical research organization that provides expert regulatory,laboratory, clinical, and compliance services to medical device and healthcare product
manufacturers.
Mono-Coat 2119W and Mono-Coat 2120W are Chem-Trend’s latest process chemicals that were approved adhering to the USP Class VI standard for the manufacture of medical silicone products. Previously the certification was also granted to Mono-Coat
1973W,which is used in the manufacture of non-silicone medical rubber components.
